Β

Today marks a new milestone for MagicDefocus2 as v1.1
has just been released.
The major change of this release is the availability
in Canada π¨π¦ and the USA πΊπΈ!
Besides that, this update has been mostly a focus on stability.
Thanks to all the early subscribers, this would not have been possible without you!
Improvements made
- Edge handling has significantly improved. The core algorithm has had a major rewrite to make that possible.
- New pricing for floating licenses. Each license now includes two licenses: 1 GUI and 1 render. A GUI license can also be used as render, resulting in two render licenses.
- Inpainting behind foreground edges has been improved.
- Nuke 12 (Linux only) is now supported as well.
- Several bug-fixes (check the full release notes for a detailed list)
- A containerized version of license server has been made available, this makes installation much easier; just one command to launch a working server.
Trial reset
To celebrate this new update, all trials have been reset.
If you are not on an active subscription; go to magicdefocus.com and request your free trial again.
Companies can also request a trial floating license again,
please reach out to support@vinkvfx.com for that.
For existing customers, please reactivate your license when updating.
This includes the license server.
Have a great day!
